What is Vantage Marketing Canada?
Vantage is a specialized door-to-door marketing company operating across Canada. We partner primarily with Insight Pest Solutions, Canada's largest residential pest control company, to provide direct-to-consumer marketing services through residential sales. We also market on behalf of Telus and mySolar, leading Canadian telecom and solar installation companies.

Who do we hire?
We recruit college and university students and young adults across Canada. We focus on developing the next generation of high-performing sales professionals through our comprehensive summer programs.

What exactly would I be selling?
You would sell one-year residential pest control service contracts, not physical products. These contracts are fulfilled by Insight Pest Solutions' service and administrative departments. The average contract value is $850. For Telus, you would be marketing smart home security and telecommunications packages. For mySolar, you would be generating leads and closing residential solar systems.

Do I need prior sales experience?
No prior sales experience is required. We provide comprehensive training to develop your sales and communication skills.

2. Training & Development

What kind of training program do you offer?

Our training program is extensive and includes:


Pre-season preparation:
- Self-paced learning materials

Summer sales boot camp curriculum covering:

3. Compensation & Benefits

How does the commission structure work?
Commission-only position
First-year representatives earn 20%-40% commission
Commission rate increases based on the number of accounts sold
Commissions are calculated on first-year contract values only
Average contract value: $850
For Telus and mySolar, the commission scale differs depending on the product.

What can I expect to earn?
Typical earnings range: $15,000-$25,000 per summer
Top first-year performers can earn over $100,000
Earnings directly correlate with performance and effort

4. Schedule & Logistics

What's a typical workday like?
Mornings are free for personal time

What should I expect during the interview process?
We choose candidates based on their performance in the interview process, as well as their extracurricular background. If you have done debate, sports, case competitions, or held various jobs, you could be a good fit - we're looking for applicants with a demonstrated history of achievement and doing hard things voluntarily. You can expect 2-4 rounds of interviews. .

What should I expect during the pre-season period?

Is relocation necessary?
Relocation may be required depending on office locations
